With my morning elixir!
I have always been an avid lemon water drinker to start my day, I’ve blogged and posted about it loads – the health benefits are endless but earlier this year my super talented mother-in law introduced me to this latest rendition and I’m totally hooked!
It’s particularly great in the colder months for warding off flu’s etc, it’s really warming and comforting and incredible for digestion, metabolism boosting & even beating those pesky cravings – I won’t start my day without it.
Give it a try and let me know what you think!
You’ll need :
– juice of half a lemon
– small piece of fresh ginger grated (I add extra, I like it kinda firey!)
– pinch of cayenne (add more if you don’t mind spice!)
– 1/2 tsbn cinnamon
– 1 tspn Manuka honey or black strap molasses
Mix together with warm water (not boiling!) and enjoy at least 20 minutes before anything else!! Xx
